MAHARISHI VEDIC CITY
CITY COUNCIL

Resolution No. 33

Congratulations to Mayors and City Councils for Adopting Resolutions for Peace
Establishing Peace Palaces in 100 Cities around the United States
Resolution for Peace

March 4, 2003

Whereas, over 100 cities around the United States have adopted resolutions in support of peace, particularly a peaceful resolution to the current situation in Iraq;

Whereas, Maharishi Vedic City wishes to congratulate the Mayors and City Councils of those cities for their resolutions;

Whereas, Maharishi Vedic City was established as a City of Peace applying Vedic knowledge and practical programs for prevention-oriented, problem-free administration;

Whereas, Peace Palaces are being established in the 3000 largest cities of the world including 192 cities in the United States, beginning immediately with 100 cities—generally the two largest cities in each state;

Whereas these Peace Palaces are based upon a formula of world peace through individual peace;

Now therefore the following resolutions are hereby adopted:

Resolved that the City of Maharishi Vedic City shall send its congratulations to the Mayors and City Councils of all the cities that have adopted resolutions in support of peace;

Resolved that the City shall inform the Mayors of these cities that support peace of the plans to build 100 peace palaces in the major cities of each state in the United States to establish world peace through peace of the individual; This will develop the city as unit of world peace in the nation and the nation as a unit of world peace in the family of nations;

Resolved, that the City confirms it commitment to peace and offers to the Mayors of the world ancient Vedic technologies for prevention-oriented and problem free administration based on total knowledge of Natural Law.
