Resolution No. 19

Development of the City through establishment of a Central Bank as a economic policy making aspect of administration, and through establishing or encouraging others to establish a commercial bank, a venture capital fund for business development, a post office, housing for senior citizens, housing for students, and a beautiful environment including lakes and fountains

October 7, 2002

Whereas, Maharishi Vedic City has the goal of encouraging business and economic development, housing development, and creation of a beautiful environment.

Now therefore, the City Council adopts the following resolutions:

Resolved, that the City hereby establishes a Central Bank for financial policy and treasury management.

Further resolved, that the City encourages the establishment of a commercial bank within the city to support the growth of the City and meet the needs of the citizens.

Further resolved, that the City encourages the establishment of a venture capital fund to support the growth of business in the City and the surrounding area.

Further resolved, that the City requests the establishment of a post office in the City.

Further resolved that the City shall seek to establish and encourage others to establish housing for senior citizens to be able to live in the peaceful environment of Maharishi Vedic City.

Further resolved that the City shall seek to establish and encourage others to establish housing for students in the City.

Further resolved, that the City shall undertake to create lakes and fountains and thus manage storm water and create recreational amenities in the City.
