Resolution No. 6
To create a Master Plan for Maharishi Vedic City
incorporating all the knowledge of Veda and the Vedic literature to create a model city of peace, prosperity, happiness for the citizens, and ideal administration, and through the creation of this ideal city to bring the benefits of peace and prosperity to the State of Iowa, the United States and the world

WHEREAS, the City Council of Maharishi Vedic City desires to see the City develop as an ideal city incorporating all the knowledge of Veda and the Vedic literature to create
a model city of peace, prosperity, happiness for the citizens, and ideal administration, and through the creation of this ideal city to bring the benefits of peace and prosperity to the State of Iowa, the United States and the world;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that this plan be in accord with the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design to promote the health and happiness of all those in the city and the orderly functioning of city life;
WHEREAS, a key component of this plan is a group of 8,000 Yogic Flyers including Vedic pundit students of Maharishi University of World Peace who will create coherence not only for the City but for the state, the country, and the entire world.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MAHARISHI VEDIC CITY that the City shall create a master plan;
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this plan shall be created under the guidance of H.E. Dr. Eike Hartmann, head of the Institute of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda and Minister of Global Reconstruction of Maharishis Global Country of World Peace and with the advice of leading experts in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda design from India;
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City shall seek the advice of a city planner to assist Dr. Hartmann; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the mayor, members of the city council, and staff and citizens of the City shall assist in the process by focusing on all the components that are needed in the city8,000 Yogic flyers to create coherence, and education, business, tourism, housing, retail, Vedic organic agriculture, and city servicesand identifying financing sources to aid in the development of these components of the master plan.
